About me

My name is Oksana Salminen

I am a practising psychologist working with life crises, anxiety,
self-esteem, and questions of personal direction. I offer psychological consultations
in person in Tallinn and online.

In my counselling work, it is important for me to create a calm and structured space where a person can carefully and thoughtfully explore their inner experience. I do not offer ready-made solutions and do not rush the process — the work unfolds at a pace that feels right for you.

In my practice, I am guided by respect for a person’s feelings, perspectives, and life path. It matters to me that the consultation is a place where difficult things can be spoken about without pressure, judgement, or expectations, allowing clarity to emerge gradually and personal sources of support to be found.

Education and professional training

Master’s degree in Psychology.
Practising psychologist working within the existential approach.

In my work, I use methods and techniques of existential therapy, as well as elements of Gestalt therapy, transactional analysis, art therapy, and psychodrama. Depending on the request, metaphorical associative cards may also be used.

In counselling, a calm and structured space is created for careful inner work.
An important part of the process is not the search for quick solutions, but the gradual clarification of what is happening, the awareness of inner processes, and the search for support within one’s own experience.

The work is carried out confidentially, without pressure or expectations, with respect for what is important to you at this moment, and is guided by principles of professional responsibility and ethics.

In my work, I take a position of attentive support and a partnership-based dialogue.
A psychological consultation is a collaborative process in which solutions are not imposed, but emerge through understanding, reflection, and inner clarity.

For some, a single meeting may be sufficient; for others, the work unfolds over a longer period — always in accordance with the person’s needs and situation.
